How Farah Law is Prepared for the Coronavirus

On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the rapidly spreading novel strain of coronavirus, named COVID-19, is now a global pandemic. Individuals worldwide have been cautioned by health organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to take preventative measures to help curb the spread of the virus. Over the weekend the CDC announced recommendations that all gatherings over 50 people be canceled or postponed for the next eight weeks and local government officials have urged employers to implement telecommuting wherever possible.

At Farah Law, we are taking all necessary precautions to protect our employees and our clients, across all of our locations, from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Precautions our firm is taking to protect its staff and clients from coronavirus include:

  • Increasing the frequency of office cleaning and sanitization services
  • Implementing work from home measures across all offices, making exceptions only for essential in-office needs
  • Changing all client office visits and in-person meetings to phone calls and videoconference
  • Carefully monitoring the news for new developments

As we have done in the past, we will continue to offer clients the option of e-document signing services that eliminate the need for office visits and we encourage clients who are seeking legal counsel as a result of a recent auto collision, wrongful death or other personal injury matter to contact us for a phone consultation.

We remain absolutely committed to serving clients during regular business hours by phone, videoconference, and email but will not receive clients in the office for in person visits. We especially encourage our elderly clients, those suffering from pre-existing health conditions and anyone else who may be particularly vulnerable to the effects of this virus to take all necessary precautions and distance themselves as much as possible.

As this is an evolving situation, we will continue to publish updates as they become available. We wish you and your loved ones health and safety during this time.

If you have additional questions or concerns about how we will continue to operate during this time, please don’t hesitate to contact our Houston personal injury attorneys online or at (888) 481-9359.
